We are Anatoli & Liis, partners in business and in life. We are actors in Tallinn, Estonia, but we are also designers and creators of modern Scandinavian style pet furniture and accessories and WE LOVE PETS!

Black Velvet was born, when we started to decorate our home with natural materials and realised the plastic cat litter box doesn't fit into our idea of a beautiful home. As the choices in modern pet products were quite narrow, we decided to design necessary things ourselves. And during this process, we got the idea to share these products with other pet owners who might think like we do.

We have a cat named Juno and she is our muse. We design our products based on what she likes and also, what fits into our lovely Scandinavian style home. We hope to create things that will also make you and your pets happy!
